About Us
Our Story
The Hendreds Preschool is a charity-run preschool located in East Hendred, providing high-quality childcare services for children aged 2.5 to 4 years, Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm term time only. We have positively impacted the community for over 20 years by offering a stimulating, free-flow environment where children can explore, learn and develop at their own pace. Our team of experienced and qualified educators are dedicated to creating a warm and loving atmosphere where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to grow and develop.
Our Curriculum
Top Programs
Our curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education that fosters children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. We offer a range of activities and experiences that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, such as arts and crafts, music and movement, literacy and numeracy, science and nature, and outdoor play. Our programs are led by qualified and experienced teachers who provide individualised support and guidance to each child, while encouraging collaboration and teamwork.
Our Facilities
New Additions
We are constantly improving our facilities to create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming learning environment for our children. Our preschool outdoor play area is equipped with a range of toys to help wth gross motor skills as well as sensory toys. There is something for everyone to enjoy. We also have a well-equipped indoor area with a range of toys, books, and learning materials that cater to different interests and abilities.

Our team of educators are passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to providing the best possible care and learning experiences for our children. They are all qualified and experienced in working with young children, and undergo regular training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices. They are also caring, nurturing, and respectful, and build strong relationships with our children and families based on trust, communication, and collaboration.
